Equipment to test the mechanical ageing on conduits and fittings
09/05/13 - Equipment realized according to customer specifications, designed to simulate the oscillatory movement between the wagons of the trains while running. With this equipment is possible to determine the duration of use (in millions of cycles) of the conduits and the fittings between the wagons.
The apparatus consists of two opposing independent testing stations, one fixed and one with variable distance, with a rod-crank group for test specimen rotary motion. The speed of the stations is directly handled by the user by means of inverter keyboards placed on the control panel.
Fixed station with a hydraulic cylinder for vertical independent movement of test specimen controlled by a power pack. Ascent and descent cylinder speed and stroke are adjustable.
